If you aren't the #1 sales team in America, are you a loser?
What if we end up in the top 5 for the next 10 years. Maybe a couple of the finishes are in 1st, I still would like that streak. I don't look at any season in any sport as an all or none proposition. We competed against the schedule in front of us and lost one game. I think this is a good season. Do I want the rings, absolutely, but are we failures because we didn't get them? I guess I'll go somewhere else since they didn't finish at #2." My favorite scenario would be for Ingram to rush for -50 yards, fumbles several times and never scores. Colt McCoy gets intercepted five or six times, and in the THIRD overtime (when no one is left watching), Mt. Cody sacks McCoy in the end zone for a safety. Bama wins 2-0. If bammer wins, great, the SEC is still dominant, we will be ranked #2 and next year the winner of the SECC is already penciled in for the BCSC game. If Texas wins, great, bammers won't be able to claim their 44,323rd national championship and slimy Nick won't match Urban for number of BCSC, Gators will end up 3rd, which still isn't all bad.
