When I transferred here, the ultimate goal, as Leon knows, was to retire next door to him in Gainesville. After we moved here in ’05, my wife’s parents, and two of her siblings (a brother and a sister) have moved here. Her dad is in a nursing home with severe dementia and her mother’s health is getting worse all the time. I asked her several times this past winter if she was ready to move back to Florida yet (I can transfer pretty much anywhere I want), but she said that she wants to stay here. So… unless Leon wants a bachelor pad with motorcycles in the front yard and wild parties every weekend, I guess I’d better stay here (and MARRIED).
