It may be a popular phrase, but in the context of his actions last night I
don't think he meant his batteries were dead. We can downplay this all we
want but bottom line this is a serious issue.

I agree that this will probably be plead down or dropped completely, but
that doesn't change the fact that he did it. It also doesn't help the image
of UF when, once again, we are in the ESPN ticker with negative news.

We can no longer make fun of other schools transgressions as long as this
stuff keeps happening. Yes, we deal with it differently in most cases, but
obviously these kids aren't getting the message. Urban has always had a
strong stance on violence against women, it will be interesting to see how
he deals with Chris as he is one of his favorites.

I am not advocating he be kicked off the team or out of school (although
that may be school policy), rather he needs to have a multi-game suspension
and enter some type of education/treatment program to ensure this doesn't
happen again.

Ken,

I looked at your link and was surprised it seems to be a popular phrase
these days? I have a 17 year old daughter and I would do anything to protect
her.

Something tells me it isn't slang, Urban Dictionary definition below. If
I'm Meyer and I have a daughter in college, I know what I would do.

 <http://time-to-die.urbanup.com/1775250> 1. Time To Die
<http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=time+to+die> 3 up,
<http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=time+to+die> 8 down

250> buy time to die mugs, tshirts and magnets

The Time when your clock runs out of battery/life

The other day I was playing video games and my clock was basically telling
me, "It's Time to Die!"

Kids these days---it's all slang. Who know what that means? At least he
didn't threaten to kill anyone. Time to die?? WTF?
