Yes, there's no doubt Newton would've fit better in the spread. I wasn't
saying he wouldn't have if he hadn't been a criminal. But, he is. 
I'm just saying John Brantley isn't chopped liver. Nor is he quitting/kicked
off the team. Thus, he deserves a chance to do what he does best. And that's
not in the spread. Meyer is smarter than this. Give the inexperienced
quarterback a chance to prove himself. If for nothing else, for his loyalty!
