I don't think Oregon has a Tim Tebow or Cam Newton and Chris Leak
was the starting QB for a National Title Team.
My point is, I could care less what offense we run as long as we
win, but if you look at what High Schools are running, Spread Option
QB's are significantly more available than Pro-Style drop back QBs.

YES, that is true. It's fun to watch when you have a Cam Newton or
a Tim Tebow running it. I also shudder when you take a John
Brantley or a Chris Leak and waste their talents trying to run that
type of offense. I'm convinced that I'm stuck with it for the near
future. Please keep in mind that a lot of teams have won National
Titles running a more traditional pro-set offense as well.

I hate to see him go, but if he doesn't want to coach here any more
than it's best for both parties. I thought at times this year,
Meyer looked "checked out" on the sidelines compared with his
emotional "outbursts" in previous seasons. Did any one else notice
that or was it just me?
I just hope that Foley cleans house and sends the spread option
offense packing with Meyer and his ass't coaches.
How will this affect recruiting one has to wonder?
