That's not off topic at all, John.  Many of us record Gator sports events and 
copy them to DVD.  That will be a bummer if it's now copy protected.  Copying 
for personal use should be allowed in my opinion.

Anyone tried to put something from Sun Sports on a DVD and get a copy 
protection 
notice?  I recorded Muschamp's press conference Tuesday (a DirecTV DVR) and 
tried to copy it to a DVD today.  Nope.  About a minute into the copying, the 
DVD recorder flashed a "copy protected" note on the screen, and stopped 
recording.  

 
Has Sun Sports started putting some sort of copyright signal on their 
broadcasts 
that prevents making DVD copies?  Anyone else seen this?
