I can testify to that, as well. Although I DVR ALL the games, in the past, I’ve always been insistent on watching the game live at all cost. This year, several times I opted to go for a bike ride during the game and I would check the score during stops. IF we won, then I would watch the game when I got home. If not, then I deleted it without watching. The DVR and my PDA allowed me to basically do two things at once. Also, since watching DVD “reruns” of gator football games never gets old to me, watching a game that I already knew the outcome didn’t bother me at all. The main thing was I didn’t waste a beautiful Saturday afternoon inside the house screaming at the TV. All year long we heard Urban and Coach Addazi (no O allowed), talk about how they wanted to get the ball to the perimeter and use our speed. Guess what? Everyone has speed! When you watch Penn St. receivers beating our corners down the sideline, didn't you wonder why we weren't capable of that? There is no way they have more athletic WRs or CBs. There were things they could have done this year that would have eased the pain. They could have really modified the offense like in 2006, they could have said thanks Johnny, but this isn't working and played Burton or Reed all year. The crap they did play was embarassing and quite frankly some of the worst football I have ever seen. In fact, if this team had played the 1979 Gators, I bet they would have been 1-9-1. I am not saying that Mike is an All American RB, just that we don't know because too many people were touching the ball because they are either invested in the program and/or might break a 70 yard run. Yes, Urban has won a lot of games and championships, but like other coaches we know, he has a huge ego and will prove his system works, even if it means 5 losses...
