Part of me says that Muschamp should make an example out of him and boot him off the team. The problem with that is that he would actually not really be punished. He would apply for the hardship draft and still get paid for his transgression. I am not going to comment on the pot issue itself, but rather on the stupidity he demonstrated both by using in public where he was more likely to get caught and from his twitter comment that demonstrated both a lack of remorse for his actions and a lack of education and sensitivity toward what the coach might think about his remark. In the old days (Dickey, Pell) he would have wished he never had done these things after the hell the coaches would put him through. I am not sure you can do the things the coaches used to do (stadium steps, bread and water, running wind sprints until he dropped). I am not convinced that a two game suspension would be that much of an attitude adjuster either. Any ideas? Public humiliation? Team discipline? Perhaps some team discipline might be the best since his peers would be on his case for making them do extra work.
