Except in the LSU game, when he played early in the second half and was the 
only back to consistently move the ball. Demps was hurt. Rainey was 
inconsistent. Burton went nowhere. That wasn't mop-up duty; that was the heart 
of the game. 

I agree that all of his other chances have been in mop-up time, but that's 
exactly my point. He has never failed to produce at any time during any game, 
so while we may say that the coaches must know something, I prefer to look at 
the objective evidence provided by my own eyes. There comes a point when one 
has to acknowledge that he has met every challenge he's faced and give him a 
shot at meaningful playing time. I hope that actually happens this week.
