The thought I had when reading about this was that Urban has agreed to the
deal in principle, but has to check with Shelley first. I have become
convinced that the Gators' national championships had more to do with the
talent on the team (Tim Tebow, Brandon Spikes, et al) than it had to do
with any magic abilities Urban Meyer possessed. Had he stayed another year
at Florida, I doubt that the team would be been more successful than it has
been under Muschamp. In that case, would Ohio State have even wanted him?
