Building a bridge or even offering a guy with WPL's measurables, even if he was 
a raw talent, could be construed, in some circles, as actions that would 
benefit the program...

Sometimes it is good to build bridges with high school coaches. It can pay 
dividends in the long run.

I recall that Wondy Pierre-Louis was essentially homeless and had not received 
offers, UF gave him a home and a fresh start to his life.

Perhaps one day, Wondy's high school coach will be coaching the next Emmitt 
Smith and that gives Florida the edge. Even if not, it seems like a decent 
thing to do.
