Well, second only to the stupidity of how much we paid Muschamp not to coach, and then forgot to put in a one-year non-compete to keep him from stealing our top recruits. I would think that - during the original negotiations that took place only a year ago - someone considered the possibilities that the Gators would win the SEC East, the SEC title, earn a playoff spot and/or win the Championship game. Each of these possibilities would have come with an appropriate bonus that everyone was happy with. To pay that bonus, and then give a raise is equivalent to paying the bonus twice. I have to wonder if the UAA has an attorneys on staff, or if Foley breathes orange and blue incense, goes into a trance, and agrees to the first vision that crosses his mind.
