This was a very entertaining and exciting event. My wife and I have been going to the home meets all year and it's become one of our favorite pastimes. This was a little different as there were 6 teams competing and 4 events taking place at the same time. We also had floor level seat and a new appreciation of these women's athleticism as they go full speed before launching themselves into flips and multiple turns and twists. The Gators trailed early after a pretty disastrous start on the bars and had to come from behind to nip Georgia. The judges were tough and actually we thought some of the Gator routines deserved a higher score. They won with one of their lowest scores of the year but they had the 3rd best score out of all regional winners. Only Oklahoma and LSU had a better score. They will need to be relaxed and confident going into the finals.
