Dear All, A meeting to chalk out this years Pride in Delhi was held on the 25th of April at Saheli's office. At that meeting, a consensus around several things emerged. 1) Delhi is definitely having Pride in 2010. 2) That Delhi would like to work in coordination with other cities so that the Pride happens on the same day across the country 3) We discussed a number of options, including July 2. Some felt July 2 would've been the perfect date for Pride except for the weather in Delhi and concerns that July's unbearable heat might make participation come down. So Delhi is suggesting that Pride parades be held across the country on the last Sunday of November. This year, this falls on November 28. Just to be clear, Delhi is proposing that this year Pride be conducted on *Sunday, November 28, 2010* 4) July 2nd will be commemorated in Delhi and for that it was suggested that a wider meeting of Delhi groups and be called for *Sunday, May 16 at 5 pm.*The venue of this meeting will be announced soon. This meeting on May 16 will be to coordinate the events to commemorate the Delhi High Court's verdict. Warmly Delhi Queer Pride
