In at least 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 GBL and GBP, Gnatbox forgets mask settings on RA filter objects, if the mask is all ones.
Using the web interface to create a new RA filter and specifying <USE IP ADDRESS> for the source and destination objects, enter <some ip address>/255.255.255.255 for the IPs. Click OK and once the menu of RA filters comes back up, the masks have changed to 32, i.e. <some ip address>/32. Now click the checkmark next to the filter in order to edit it. The filter comes up and the IPs are there with the /32 mask. Click OK again (no changes have been made) and when the menu of RA filters comes back up, the masks have disappeared. Clicking the checkmark to edit again confirms this. The IPs are still there, but without the mask. If I initially create the filter with a mask of 32 instead of 255.255.255.255, then click OK, the masks have disappeared once the RA filter menu comes back up. Am I misunderstanding something? Also, it appears the Unix/Linux Installation instructions in the manual are wrong. This is under the Software Installation section in Chapter 4. Under step 7, where it describes reading and writing only the configuration data, the command for reading the config data should use the dd skip= option (rather than seek=) and the command for writing the config data should use seek= rather than skip=. -- Roger Cornelius [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe to the digest version first unsubscribe, then e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
