Then it sounds like you are using HTTP, rather than HTTPS
or RMC.

If you were to change from HTTP to HTTPS and then deny
HTTP connections to the GNAT Box and only allow HTTPS
connections from your management office, you should be
able to do this securely.

The other possibility is that this is exactly the type of
thing that the GTA Enterprise Server was designed to do.
It communicates with the GNAT Box(es) securely over the
RMC connection, and allows you to easily administer groups
of GNAT Boxes.
