The current proxy setup is only for Websense. 1. Traditional proxy only means that when implementing WebSense users will configure their browsers to point to the GNAT Box as a proxy. The GNAT Box technical does proxy the connection, however this is only because URL extraction is performed for WebSense. It currently serves no other purpose.
2. Transparent means that the GNAT Box will inspect traffic on ports 80,8000 and 8080, extract the URL and pass it to a WebSense server for thumbs up or down.
