I have a question regarding VPN's and Microsofts PPTP. We have a remote office that we just opened and we want to connect the office via a VPN. So we thought we could get a DSL circuit, set up and NT server in the remote office and configure Microsoft's PPTP. However, when we installed the PPTP software NT also installed RAS. It looks to me like doing a VPN with NT means you must use a modem. As you can see I have no experience with VPNs and would welcome any info you have. Am I going about this wrong? Is there other software I could use?
