That method should work. If the downloaded file is a *.flp file then you
can use it to create a new disk if disaster strikes.

The method I use is through GBAdmin. I open a connection to GB, then save
to a file. Tick both options (runtime and config) to get a full backup
image.

I keep a few backup files. I keep one of the runtime, then one of the
config. When saving the config, I use the current date as the file name.
This allows me to "roll back" changes easily that did not give the desired
results.

I I need to create a new disk, I could open the runtime, then merge the
config, and then, finally save to floppy. The process takes a total of 5
minutes and I'm back up and running.

HTH.

I need to make a backup of the Gnatbox floppy. I was shown to take out the
floppy, put it in another pc, and copy it by the person who installed it.
I see there is an option in 'Administration' called 'Download Floppy Image'
through the brownser interface. Is this all I need to do? Just don't want
to think I am backing it up when I am not.

Thanks,
Wayne
