There are no issues; I use SSH everyday from home inbound through a GNAT Box.
In fact this email was sent down a SSH tunnel using Datafellows (now 
F-Secure, Inc.) client software.

You might check your remote access filters.
Set up logging and look for remote access filter blocks.
You might also check the SSH server configuration file.
