I need help with the DCHO set up with GnatBox Lite 3.0.3. I've been running
for about 3 months and the only problem I have is that GB won't release an IP
and get a new one with the way I have it set up. The only problem until today
was that I would have to re-start GB about every month so it would go look for
a new address. Today, however the cable company (Media One Road Runner)
deprovisioned my modem because GB was holding on to the IP address and causing
a conflict with another user. I had to call them tonight and luckily they
re-provisioned it wothout making me do something I don't want to - get rid of
GB and buy home networking from them. So I would really appreciate any help,
because if this happens again, I'm afraid they won't be so nice.
My set up is shown below taken directly from a cut and paste via the browser
interface. Can someone tell me why this doesn't do DCHP automatically?
Thanks very much for any help.
