I dont know if GTA would endorse this or not, but FWIW.... Ive used the VPN client since it came out. One of the habits that I developed in the beginning (when things were really funky :-) was to leave a command prompt running ping -t minimized in the background when I wanted to use the VPN. Doing that, I've not had the Terminal Server client software wack out on me running to NT4 and Win2k terminal servers.
