Has anyone implemented this?
I have ddownloaded the authentication tool from GTA but I have not tried
it..

It seems useful, however, as a computer conected with VPN to the office LAN
is a security risk if in the wrong hands.

Joe,

I think I found at least part of an answer for you. I looks like this is
going to support a method for VPN Clients to Authenticate with the GNAT Box.

Authorization

This feature, when enabled, requires the user to run the GBAuth User
Authentication program before initiating a VPN connection. A default Remote
Access Filter for VPN's is set in the GNAT Box firewall system software.
Once this feature is enabled, this Remote Access Filter can be enabled
automatically by defaulting the Remote Access Filters.

- Enable Authentication
Select this check box to enable use of the Authentication Server.
- Server Port
The default port for the Authentication Server is port 76. If you wish to
change
this enter the new port number and make sure you change the Remote Access
filter
associated with the Authentication Server to match the new port number.
