It may actually be a few settings. Outlook sometimes uses a delay for delivery when using SMTP.
Tell it to use the LAN when connecting (in the server settings under tools services for O.2000 or email accounts for XP) and turn "disconnect when finished" OFF. That should fix the problem. It looks like the message is still in the outbox, but as soon as you click on the outbox, it disappears about 10 seconds later. ---------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, 12 October 2002 3:41 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [gb-users] Email Problems I had a look at the original email and you are correct. I think I must have been concentrating so hard on not saying express that I typed it anyway. I actually use Outlook 2000 with Exchange Client to connect to Exchange 5.5. My apologies. Additionally on further experimenting I'm not sure that even the send receive always works, as sometimes I seem to need to look in a different folder in order to see my "outbox" empty. Strange. -----Original Message----- From: Graham Jones [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 11 October 2002 18:04 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [gb-users] Email Problems ... but you definitely said Outlook Express in your original question ....
