I made the paperweight remark.  I take your point.  It's just that my IT
budget is overstretched at the moment; we like many other IT companies are
going through a drawn-out downturn and I could have done without spending a
few grand on a bit of kit to replace something that seems to be running just
fine.

Aw, c'mon.  The GB-100 can't be the first hi-tech paperweights you've
bought.

All these things did the job for a while, but although many of them still
operate as advertised, they are no longer up to the job.  As I'm sure you
know, that is the nature of the world we work in.  Everything has a life-
span.  Granted, some are longer than others, but realistically you rarely
know in advance.
