Hi All,

I've got a user that has had to take some time off at home, but wants to
continue working from home. They have a Win98 machine currently setup as a
proxy running AnalogX proxy software, with a WiFi access point used by
their laptop (running XP) to connect the home machine to their laptop, and
subsequently route out over the net . However, the AnalogX proxy software
nor the port forwarding software are capable of forwarding port 1723 to
create a MS PPTP connection.
I was thinking, is it possible to run the VPN client on the Win98 machine,
and use it to create an IPSEC VPN net-net gateway between the GB (at work
to connect the rest of the network) his home machine (the 98), and route
traffic through the 98 machine ?

Changing the gateway o/s (the 98) is not an option at the minute, but may
be the only option.

TIA

Simon Delicata
