David, I put that in the static filter like you said but then I never received the email when I sent it from my etbu.edu account to my cablelynx.com account.
Lets say my internal ip address on my PSN for my mail server is 10.100.1.10 I have an alias created on my external interface called MAIL and it is using ip 63.71.26.5 When I put <USE IP ADDRESS> 10.100.1.10 MAIL and save it, the mail is never delivered. Any suggestions? You should configure a Static Address Mapping (under NAT) for this. For example, if your internal mailserver is 10.100.1.10, and 63.71.26.5 is on the MAIL alias: <USE IP ADDRESS> 10.100.1.10 MAIL These mappings control /outbound/ NAT. By default all outbound traffic is NATed to the EXTERNAL gateway interface. Static Mappings change this. ...david -- David Raistrick Systems Administrator - Global Technology Associates, Inc [EMAIL PROTECTED] Disclaimer: All opinions expressed are the opinions of David Raistrick, not necessarily those of GTA, Inc. ------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive: http://archives.gnatbox.com/gb-users/ ------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive: http://archives.gnatbox.com/gb-users/
