Having gone the GB-Flash route I had to wonder about the GB-1000. For the
most part, isn't it just a 1U PC with an IDE/Flash drive?

Couldn't you just upgrade the flash module inside to a 64MB card (from the
original 16MB)? Has anyone taken one apart? Or does this perhaps have
something to do with the high availability option?

Just curious,
Gus

If you are in the $300 bracket, sure. We had a few from the *early*
batches. It's $1700 for us. I would much rather spend $795 on GB-ware
license and run it on a pc.

Is it worth the money? I'm not particularly enticed by any of the new
features, but I don't want to be left out in the cold when new software
updates come along. What do you guys think?

Rick
