(I'd complain this is over-restrictive and pure loss of functionality for allocators used on containers which do not expose contiguous memory access interface like data(), but this would be another story.) Moreover, PR 57272 is still not fixed. Despite the change in LWG 2794, without the fix of that bug, I'd admit there is indeed no reasonable way to create such many nodes...
