--- Comment #7 from Joseph S. Myers <jsm28 at gcc dot gnu.org> --- You have to ignore translations marked "fuzzy", like msgfmt does, when assessing whether translations are correct or duplicates. Fuzzy translations are simply an approximate match to a message from a previous version that might help the translator in writing a new / updated translation. Sometimes they are the translation of a previous version of the English message, which the translator just has to update; sometimes they are an unrelated message. If all the cases reported here are "fuzzy", this bug report should be marked INVALID, because fuzzy translations are never intended to be a correct or usable translation of the message in question, just a starting point for the translator to use or discard as they wish.
