Unfortunately, full bootstrap with all default languages is requested to 
fully test the patch. From time to time, I also re-run bootstrap and 
testsuite just to check that everything is still in order on alpha (FYI, 
this takes  ~4days) on gcc30.

However, I can wait for an upgrade. I was looking at alpha recently 
solely due to my personal interest (adopt-an-orphaned-target approach :) 
, so I have no schedules and deadlines to catch. I can clear my 
directory, since all my work (modulo one small patch) is in the SVN ATM.
