It's not so bad now. I just tested with today's trunk
r16-1485-g8fa1e98493def5. Switching AVR to LRA introduces only the
following regressions:
Sorry, I wasn't clear. That was with the trunk as of yesterday with a
hack that turns on lra by default -- it couldn't even build libgcc.
