The CI does complain but I cannot reproduce locally :/  Pondering whether to
just go ahead and fix fallout later.
Could be the --with-<blah> options getting in the way.  Try using 
-mtune= to override the default set via those --with options. That 
ultimately was the source of similar problems with a couple of my own 
patches.
