Yes, it looks like there are new call-sites to barrier functions that I
now need to rebase onto.
They break all builds -- my development branch has been on 8b40209e48c
and I've not noticed that there was relevant development upstream.
I'll rebase and re-send. Thanks for the catch and apologies for the
overhead.
