One more note. I was reading the LWN write-up on kernel Sashiko and one
of the issues that's been raised is some maintainers refusing to look at
patches that are not Sashiko clean. That seems like a bridge too far to
me right now for GCC. But a patch that is Sashiko clean is likely to
have a higher priority for me than one that triggers a bunch of concerns
from Sashiko.
Definitely. Can we have sashiko integration with patchworks somehow?
I asked Carlos about that a week or so ago. Apparently attaching any
service to patchwork is fairly straightforward. Just a REST call and
voila. Haven't tried it obviously.
My plan was to roll Sashiko integration with patchwork into a RISE RFP
to fix a CI/CD infrastructure problem. The rt-rk guys are already
interested in doing the work, so it's mostly a matter of Peter and I
getting together to write the RFP and getting board approval (I expect
minimal friction on the board approval thing).
