How are you going to use xargs for
gcc -o myprog `find $dir -name "*.c"`
If $dir is 50 characters long, it only takes 500 files before it
overflows a 32k command line.
@file was a *very* useful feature when I worked on compiling libjava one
directory at a time. And it solved PR20155 as well.
