Unless some dates have been announced in Status reports (linked from the home page, and even in that case some P1s or severe issues can delay it), nobody including us release managers knows when exactly the releases will happen. It depends on the state of the branches (e.g. if there are any P1s that need to be resolved), when there is time for it given other pending releases so that developers have time for backports, sufficient time for backports after announcement, spare time for the releases on the RM side, etc. So, interpolation from the past 10 years or so is the only thing you can use as a guidance. Plus minus a month or two. From there you'll find out that the *.1 releases are usually in late April or early May, *.2 2-4 months after that, *.3 roughly a year after *.1, *.4 roughly two years after *.1 and *.5 roughly three years and a few months after *.1. Unless there is a strong reason to release earlier or later. Jakub
