Hi There,

As discussed during the cauldron and in the office hours last time,
I'd like to propose starting an office hours suitable for the Asia
Pacific timezone from December onwards. Maxim has kindly offered to
co-host this. I'd welcome other GNU Toolchain maintainers who would
like to help to also volunteer for this to build a little group to
help with this.

Considering feedback after the last office hours and some private
discussions , the proposal is that we have this on the 3rd Thursday of
the month but in the morning in the Asia time zone that can work.

To begin with I propose we have it in the same week as the current
office hours (3rd week of the month).

I'd like to propose the first meeting to be on the 18th December 9a.m.
India , 11:30 a.m. China, 12:30 p.m. Japan, 2:30 p.m. Australia, 4:30
p.m. New Zealand, 7:30 p.m. California, 10:30 p.m. (17th December ,
Eastern time) and 3:30 a.m. UK ( not that I expect anyone to attend at
that time !).

For those of you wanting to find out the time for your timezone here's
a handy command that can help you figure it out from a shell not too
far from you ;)

date --date='TZ="Asia/Kolkata" 2025-12-18 09:00'

The meeting will be with the same BBB infrastructure as it is used for
the existing office hours and I don't propose changing any of that and
I'll work with Carlos and Maxim to learn more about administering it .

If folks have agenda topics please let me or Maxim know for this
instance while we set up the wiki page.

regards
Ramana
