If you have a method to not define it with inhibit_libc, I'd certainly be ok with that, but then you should automatically disable building fortran. (And perhaps all languages but C - which will again break when C++ is required for building gcc, see other discussion but which BTW I'm not interested in being CC'd about.) brgds, H-P
