C++ vs Cpp v Cxx

Can we make a point of not using "Cpp" as a normalization of "C++" ?
I keep thinking it's referring to the C preprocessor.  "Cxx" is less
misleading (and kinda looks the same), when "C++" cannot be used for
character set reasons.
