Oh dear. Please take more time in reading what I meant - you've jumped
around and only read the bits you're interested in, coming
to a not very helpful premise. I presume this is how you come to some
of your odder historical opinions, including some opinions you've
in the past implied I agreed with.
The issues I named about Firefox, and "OS developers" are completely
separate. The issue of a web browsers and RISC OS is hardly
new, nor is it very helpful to overly state its importance,
since there are so many important items in an OS - and so
many that RISC OS doesn't do.
But my major point again is the unwillingness in general to
actually admit to problems and therefore get somewhere.
The point about ROL simply has to do with their contradictory
statements about Select and Iyonix.
In the meantime, at least, one of the biggest practical
challenges is packaging; that at least is coming along,
if slowly.

out the situation, which remains as murky as ever.
