Hence, I'm thinking of making a Release 2 of that.

RiscPKG packaging and testing of shared library support.  If not I would
stick to the zipped & classic packaging approach of all previous releases,
and only including the static libs.  Or would it be possible to do more
in the near future and wait for it ?

There are a couple of problems that I'm working on that effect C++ exception handling - you may like to wait for fixes to those first.
