It's probably some toolkit check, since ChoX11 of course won't

I'm using shared libraries. I think I'd somehow managed to link to both ChoX11 and X11.

I suspect this has its own native RISC OS frontend, voiding
the need for ChoX11.

The reason I was looking at evince was because !PDF and !PDFView both have problems on the Beagleboard. The source for !PDF generates an internal compiler error with the latest Norcroft
compiler I have.

I had a quick go compiling it with gcc but no success so far. I was hoping it would be easier to
get something working with the autobuilder as a stop gap.
