If it’s any help, I think your skills will apply to many if not most of the
participating orgs in some useful way. Even if their main code is not Scratch
or Python, you should be able to apply what you know to other languages without
too much difficulty because they're relatively small tasks and a team of
mentors are available to help.

Join their discussion channel and just try doing one of the tasks, ask
questions. You’ll learn a lot, and it’ll get easier. If you came to any org
with that question, they’d might be able to point you at one of the less
complicated tasks to get started.

There have been GCI grand prize winners who started out mostly knowing
Javascript or Python, but they ended up working in other languages (e.g.,
C/C++) and learned along the way.

You can do a keyword search, but I wouldn’t limit yourself to what you know.
Also, you might get the wrong impression if the org wasn’t consistent tagging
their tasks, which isn’t easy. For example, BRL-CAD has a *lot* of HTML/CSS
tasks and more to be uploaded, but some are disguised as design or website
work. We need to go back and tag them as html/css. Point is to talk, and not
assume. ;-)

Cheers!
