If you build from GDAL trunk (the development version) then GRIB format
is included by default. Try grabbing the "trunk" zip or .tar.gz from:
http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/daily/
The 1.5 branch GRIB support is considerably harder to setup and I think is
lacking in a number of other details.
