I agree with RFC 3 and have also cleared this (JPIP client driver) with ITT VIS management.

Norman has been involved with GDAL for several years, and is currently working on a JPIP client prototype with progressive display support, and the associated RFC (http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/rfc24_progressive_data_support). I would like him to have commit access so he can provide the prototype through the GDAL /sandbox, and eventually provide on going support for it when it moves into the mainline. Norman will reply to the list indicating his agreement to RFC 3: http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/rfc3_commiters Best regards, -- ---------------------------------------+-------------------------------- ------ I set the clouds in motion - turn up | Frank Warmerdam, [email protected] light and sound - activate the windows | http://pobox.com/~warmerdam and watch the world go round - Rush | Geospatial Programmer for Rent _______________________________________________ gdal-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/gdal-dev _______________________________________________ gdal-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/gdal-dev
