I'm not seeing that problem here. This this just happen to you
recently
after things were working? Are you using an external system libtiff?
If
so, the problem may be that the test exposes bugs in older libtiffs.
Building with an internal libtiff may be more appropriate for the test
suite.
ok, I hadnt needed to call out libtiff=internal previously, it seemed
to be doing that already
but, after make clean and a new configure --with-libtiff=internal
the symptom went away... thanks!
