I am on Windows 32-bit.

I went to ./swig/python and ran "python setup.py build" and "python setup.py 
install"
It is good.

Hi Greg,

I'm on linux, but I also had trouble using the --with-python switch in
configure.  However, going into ./swig/python and running " python
setup.py build" seemed to work OK.
