If a reader hangs on reading until the second paragraph, she will know clearly what is the status of FWTools and what is recommended option: "The latest FWtools version for Windows, 2.4.7, dates back to a pre-1.6 GDAL version. In order to benefit from the latest and greatest, you can refer to the other binary builds mentionned in the here-after Windows section.
