exiftools rules.
I wrote a script to create the following commands (in BASH) per photo,
then copied over and ran it at the Windows cmd prompt.
exiftool.exe -exif:gpslatituderef=S -exif:gpslatitude="27 42 01.85"
-exif:gpslongituderef=E -exif:gpslongitude="23 00 30.6"
-exif:gpsaltituderef=0 -exif:gpsaltitude=1200.562988299999900 P017.JPG
It gave a warning on the -exif:gpsaltituderef=0 param, but seems to
have worked.

Let's assume the the GPS time was NOT synchronised with the camera.
I have 122 GPS points named P001 to P122 and I have 122
